Step 1: Prepare the Batter

Step 2: Mix Well
Add a little water and mix to form a thick, smooth batter.
The consistency should be slightly thicker than pakoda batter.
Step 3: Rest the Batter
Cover and let it rest for 2–3 hours.
This helps in mild fermentation and gives softness.
Step 4: Add Baking Soda
Before frying, add a pinch of baking soda and mix gently.
Step 5: Deep Fry
Heat oil in a kadai.
